Regular club rides
Sunday club social rides often split into two groups (A and B, one usually longer and slightly faster, the other more leisurely).
- 9am from Glossop rail station (unless otherwise stated)
- 30-60 miles with café stop – may be extended depending on group

How to organise a club ride
- Look at examples of previous club rides for inspiration
- Look at favourite cafés for bike friendly stops
- Volunteer to lead-out at monthly club meeting (website admin will update calendar), e-mail a reminder to members via Yahoo Group in the week before ride
- Option to create route using Bikemap, to give an idea of the ride in advance (membership secretary has kindly offered to lend his ‘spare’ Garmin 705 GPS bike computer to club members if needed)
- Volunteers required for ride outs most weeks of the year to lead ‘A’(longer, faster) and ‘B’ (more leisurely) rides, so don’t be shy – without your help, the rides won’t happen
Thursday club training rides
- 6pm from station
- 20-40 miles (without café stop)
- tough, hilly training ride
- April to September only
