On a scorching Sunday yesterday, fifteen riders in two groups left the station for superb outings in the spectacular countryside north of Glossop. The ‘fast’ group took in the hills and dales of the West Riding of Yorkshire, up to Barkisland via Holme Moss, Meltham, Slaithwaite and Scammonden (route taken here). The leisure group descended on Holmfirth in a pincer movement! A great day to be out. Pics in the Gallery.
